As part of the Annual Catholic Schools Week celebration family friends and community members were invited to visit Good Shepherd School and talk to students about their careers, hobbies or simply read them a story. Students learned about the history of the Cable Cars, traveling through Spain and what it was like to emigrate to the United States and then go through the process to become a US citizen. They got to meet a Biotech research scientist, a neuroscientist, an actress and learn about the leadership of the Greek Orthodox Church.
The day was not all about receiving from our community. The Kindergarten class planned a special celebration to thank some of our generous parishioners for annually contributing school supplies.
